Taking Care of your Glassware
As always these are only suggestions and we are not responsible for any damage due by following our instructions. Never put crystal items in dishwasher even if they have not been restored. The heat from the dishwasher will eventually fog your crystal. Also, the speed of the water can crack or chip fragile glass. Always wash by hand carefully in luke warm water with mild dish soap. Rinse well. Dry with a cool hair dryer - but be carful.
Do not display in direct sunlight, it can damage your crystal. Ideally, keep your crystal in a 'dust-proof' cabinet. The most breakage and damage is done when pieces are cleaned and re-located . Remember - long sleeves will catch on something!!! Take off bracelets, rings, watches etc. to clean or dust or relocate pieces. Believe me, the extra minute it takes to do this first will be well worth it. Swarovski has special gloves to handle your items with. We highly recommend using them as they keep the natural oils from your skin from smudging your clean crystal.
